Comparison with Eezi-Awn
Many folks, including myself, consider the Eezi-Awn tent one of the
best quality tents on the market.  The intent of comparing our tent to
the Eezi-Awn is to show the quality and value represented by our
tent.

So what is the best way to compare two tents?  Mount them both on
your truck and get out the camera!

Here are both tents mounted on the Range Rover Classic with an ARB Roof Rack
Inside View of both tents.
The hinge mechanism of both tents.  Notice that the mattress of the Roof Top Tent
is shaped to keep it from getting caught in the hinge.  A nice touch.
Where the tent folds in half, you can see the different methods used to close the
gap.  Rather than having a large triangle shaped gap with 2 small velcro strips at the
bottom, our Roof Top Tent is connected all the way to the seam and has a velcroed
covers on both sides to prevent the ingress of bugs and cold air.
These corner shots illustrate the finishing touches of both tents.
Notice here how the tents are attached to the frame.  The Eezi-Awn is stapled to the
wood frame, then covered with a piece of metal screwed into the frame.  Our Roof
Top Tent model tent is locked into the frame by a seamless encased welt integrated
into the base of the tent fabric.   The channels in the aluminum frame securely lock
the tent to the base.  A much cleaner and durable method in our opinion.  The
pictures above help illustrate these differences.
